What is Surya's Beach Stair Workout?
My Beach Stair Workout is a full body workout I designed applying the principles of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to climbing the beach stairs using different variations, combined with strength/resistance training exercises. It is the most efficient and effective way I have found to change the body quickly. My workout allows you to combine the benefits of strength training and intense cardiovascular training concurrently, all at the same time.
Through this type of training, you will:
1. Shape, tone and functionally strengthen all the muscles of your entire body. You will seriously engage your entire core and deeply target all areas of your lower body as well as your upper body through the additional strength/resistance training exercises
2. Burn huge amounts of calories by engaging your biggest muscle groups (especially your lower body) in resistance training
3. Quickly melt and mobilize your stores of bodyfat
4. Increase your VO2 Max (the maximum amount of oxygen you can uptake during exercise)
5. Significantly increase your EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) resulting in you consuming a great deal more oxygen recovering from the workout
6. This EPOC increase results in a big metabolic boost, causing you to continue burning significantly more calories for the next 48 hrs after the workout.
